EarthLinks

connects people who are homeless and low-income

with the natural world for mutual benefit 

of both the person and the planet.

 

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

EarthLinks is a 501(c)(3) non-profit experiential Earth-education organization. GreenFingers is a pre-employment program created by EarthLinks to benefit homeless and low-income persons in urban Denver who grow plants, then use them to create products which are then available for sale. It also provides a Floral Design course to prepare participants for employment. Through sharing experiences of the natural world, participants gain a renewed perspective in their lives and act in ways that benefit both themselves and the larger society.
