The mission of Himalayan Children’s Fund  is to preserve

the culture of the Himalayan people while providing education, medical care, and basic living assistance. 

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

         Himalayan Children’s Fund is a US based, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established in 1987 and guided by the compassionate and humanitarian vision of Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. Their long-term aim is to preserve the culture, language and the Buddhist way of life of the Himalayas, and to give Himalayan children the tools to build a better future, so they can help their own people when they grow up.
