Evergreen: Our Mountain Community

HOW YOUR SUPPORT WILL HELP

            The book, Evergreen: Our Mountain Community was authored by Barbara and Gene Sternberg. The publishing rights were given to Evergreen Kiwanis, and all proceeds go into the Evergreen Kiwanis Foundation and into community activities. (Gene was an Evergreen Kiwanian.)

MISSION STATEMENT

Kiwanis is a Global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. 

The International motto of Kiwanis is:

Serving the Children of the World.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The Evergreen Kiwanis Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization. Evergreen Kiwanis was the first service club in Evergreen, organized December 13, 1951. In the early years Evergreen Kiwanis also served as sort of Chamber of Commerce. Evergreen Kiwanis sponsors or co-sponsors a K-Kids club at Wilmot Elementary, Builders Club at Evergreen Middle School, Key Club at Clear Creek High School and Circle K at Colorado School of Mines.
